The history of 200 years of Ghent University is articulated and depicted on the basis of 200 objects. Universities are like people. As they grow old enough, you can reconstruct their life history from the objects they once used, invented, and left behind. From that idea, '200 years of Ghent University in 200 objects' was born, a wonderful reading and viewing book with which Ghent University (1817-2017) invites you to celebrate its two-hundredth anniversary.
